Her passion for supporting patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals in the world of dementia sparked through her clinical practice in home health and assisted living facilities. Often, especially through the pandemic, many individuals with dementia were not receiving the support they needed or being included in activities simply due to a gap in education and confidence from their caregivers or loved ones. Ankita strives to close this gap through advocacy of evidence-based practices, clinical experience, and sharing community resources.
