Emily is a graduate of UNC Wilmington, where she earned an MSN in Nursing Education in 2021. She is an experienced perianesthesia care unit (PACU) nurse and has cared for a wide variety of inpatient and ambulatory surgical patients. She had multiple roles throughout her career including management, charge nurse, preceptor, unit educator, and staff nurse. Her newest pursuits include education in the Texas Medical Center. She has three homeschooled children and volunteers regularly in the community with Boy Scouts of America.
