Bobbi is currently an SME writer for Post-Acute Care at Relias. She began her nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in long-term care, where she discovered her passion for working with older adults in post-acute settings. In 1997, she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from South Central Area Vocational Technical School in Missouri. Demonstrating a commitment to advancing her education, she obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing from Texas County Technical Institute in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2013. With more than 24 years of clinical and managerial experience in the skilled nursing industry, Bobbi has dedicated her career to enhancing the quality of care for older adults.
Subject Matter Expert: Stacey Murphy, RRT
Stacey Murphy is a Respiratory Care Practitioner with 28 years of experience. Some of her career highlights include: Tracheostomy Care/Ventilator Management & Weaning in a LTAC specializing in Neuromuscular Disease. Clinical Educator serving as Adjunct Clinical Faculty and Curriculum Development for Goodwin College and Developing and Managing Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs for Skilled Nursing Facility level implementation. Stacey has also worked in level I and II trauma centers across Central Texas and has most currently settled into a newly opened Surgical Trauma ICU. In an effort to find new and exciting challenges this year, she took on the role of a Respiratory Therapy Legal Consultant in complex pulmonary medical malpractice cases as well. In her spare time, she enjoys adventuring with her husband and children, cooking amazing food and as much mindless entertainment as possible!
