In Session: Practicing Clinical Skills for Preventing Suicide in Older Adults

Older adults are at a heightened risk for suicide. They are also more likely to die from an attempt than younger adults due to medical comorbidities and the tendency to live alone. This course provides mental health professionals an opportunity to apply their existing knowledge of suicide prevention to assess and intervene with an at-risk older adult.
