Bridgett Ross, Psy.D. received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Boston College and then her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. She is a licensed psychologist in California and was in private practice for 13 years treating various issues including trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, grief/loss, and issues around self-concept, identity, and attachment. Having supervised pre-licensed and licensed clinicians, she maintains an interest in professional issues in the field of psychology. Dr. Ross’ training and work history include Children’s Hospital Chadwick Center for Children and Families, Kaiser Permanente, Alvarado Parkway Institute, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, which informed her focus on providing evidence-based trauma treatment to diverse populations.
Subject Matter Expert: Patricia Glenn-Brown, MSW, LCSW, BCD
Patricia Glenn-Brown is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Duke Integrative Health Coach, Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and certified as a Psychologoical Autopsy Investigator for suicide. A graduate of Michigan State University, with a bachelor’s in social work, Patricia went on to get her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2005, with a clinical focus in mental health. She has worked in various mental health settings to include inpatient psychiatric care, sexual trauma, Army family advocacy, Army deployment care health and Veteran suicide prevention coordination and program management. Her most noteworthy role has been Veteran suicide prevention, which she served for 10 years for the Veterans Health Administration. Under her leadership, her team received several regional best practice awards for clinical guidance, outreach and postvention services to providers treating Veterans who have died by suicide or at heighten risk. Her expertise led her to a national detail where she served as Policy and Legislative Coordinator for Veteran Affairs Central Office, where she developed national policy, congressional tracking reports and national technical assistance for suicide prevention. She has also served as subject matter expert in diversity, equity and inclusion for the Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Following her VHA tenure, Patricia transitioned her focus to culturally intentional mental health care for Black, Indigenous and People of color (BIPOC) and other intersectional identities at Hurdle Health Inc, a minority owned organization. In her role as Interim Chief Clinical Officer, Patricia encouraged culturally responsive care that centered race, ethnicity, and culture within the therapeutic context. In her newest endeavor, Patricia has launched Live Well Consulting PLLC, to begin offering services to enhance mental wellness in black and brown communities.
