Learning Objectives:
Understand seizure basics including etiology and differentiating between seizure types.
Review seizure causes/triggers for understanding acute symptomatic seizures, defining epilepsy, and identifying medications that can lower seizure threshold.
Review seizure medications at end of life to help with the creation an emergency seizure plan, understanding the role of benzodiazepines at end of life, and understanding alternate routes of therapy .

Rosie earned her B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
